Daniel Finch grew up as the kind of kid who would do anything except read until he discovered that the right story could make him laugh, feel brave, and believe in himself. Now he writes fast, funny adventures for readers just like him: kids who think they don’t like books… yet.

When he isn’t dreaming up ridiculous heroes like Haircules and Farticus, Daniel is usually exploring and cooking up new ideas, or remembering the wild stories that helped build his confidence when he was younger (even though he still isn’t perfect and that’s okay).

Daniel’s mission is simple: make reading feel fun, quick, silly, and impossible to put down, especially for kids who’d rather do anything else. He hopes his books help young readers discover what he did that one good story can change everything.
